How Pepper dSpray Works
How Direct Stream Pepper Spray Works
Direct pepper spray releases a focused stream of oleoresin capsicum (OC) toward a target. When it hits, it causes intense eye irritation, burning, and coughing, temporarily incapacitating the person and giving the user time to escape. The direct stream allows for better accuracy with minimal spray spread.
How Fog Pepper Spray Works
Fog pepper spray releases a wide mist of oleoresin capsicum (OC) into the air rather than a focused stream. The fine cloud affects the eyes and breathing almost instantly, making it effective for covering larger areas or multiple threats. Because it disperses broadly, it’s less precise and more affected by wind than direct spray.
How 425ml and 225ml Pepper Spray Works
The 425ml and 225ml fog pepper spray canisters are specifically designed for use in pepper spray alarm systems. These canisters are integrated into alarm units and are automatically activated when the system is triggered, releasing a dense fog of pepper spray to rapidly fill the protected area and deter intruders.
Unlike handheld pepper spray units intended for personal use, the 425ml and 225ml fog canisters form part of a fixed security solution, providing wide-area coverage and an effective response as part of an alarm-based defense system.
